Pace charts and pace bands

Every chart works for any goal time: type yours and get every mile and kilometre split, then print a pace band for race day. Full printable tables sit under each tool.

Charts you can trust on race day

Every chart on this site is calculated when the page is built, from the same engine as the tools, so the printed table and your own goal always agree to the second. Distances are the official ones: 42.195 km for the marathon, 21.0975 km for the half, which is why our 4-hour marathon pace is 9:09 per mile and not the 9:10 you see on charts that use 26.2 miles.

Start with the chart for your race (5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon), type your goal, and decide between even pace and a gentle negative split. Then send the same goal to the pace band generator and print a wristband with your elapsed time at every mile or kilometre.

Training indoors or on a track? The treadmill pace chart converts belt speed to pace and shows what an incline is worth, and the track pace chart lists 100 m to 1600 m times for every mile pace.
